The Global Sport and Human Rights Academy is a groundbreaking initiative from the Centre for Sport & Human Rights and World Academy of Sport. Bringing bespoke online human rights knowledge and training for those involved with the sports industry from Mega-Sport Events through to everyday sport.
The Global Sport and Human Rights Academy provides the information, tools and knowledge for the international sports industry to navigate complex human rights issues, make responsible decisions, and ensure that people are at the heart of sport.
The Academy aims to brings human rights education to all levels of sport in all parts of the world, while developing bespoke learning opportunities both online and in-person, building the institutional capacity of actors across the sports ecosystem and strengthening their ability to manage risks and responsibilities aligned to international human rights principles and standards.
